The purpose of HCWC is to create an environment where violence and abuse are not tolerated in the communities we serve. The Center will provide education, violence prevention services and crisis intervention to victims of family violence, dating violence, sexual assault and child abuse. We will seek the support and resources necessary to achieve this mission.
We are a community of volunteers that serve God by serving others. Mission: Restoring hope to the vulnerable in the community. Through construction-based projects, our volunteers serve the physical & spiritual needs of the elderly, widows, single parents, children, veterans, disabled, and survivors of human trafficking or sexual exploitation …so that God’s love can be seen and experienced by all.
The mission is to empower individuals with disabilities through horses. The word “disability” is used, but the program never limits by person, by a diagnosis or preconceived limitation. Our goal is to help every participant develop skills and confidence that can be carried into every aspect of their life.
Through the years we have found the importance of family and community involvement to create more inclusive opportunities for every ability level. We have expanded to serve more of the community through our job training, educational programs and family support services. We also partner with other nonprofits to provide safe and empowering horse experiences that benefit their programs and participants.
