With 22 years of experience spanning waterproofing, glazing, and electrical work, James has built a career (and a company) on precision, problem-solving, and a relentless pursuit of excellence. A perfectionist at heart, he thrives on numbers, strategy, and creative solutions, which is exactly why he fell in love with the electrical trade.
When he’s not leading the charge at Magnify Electric, you’ll find James volunteering at church, spending quality time with his family, hiking, reading, or cheering on just about any sport. Did you know there’s a competitive speed-wiring championship?

La Chelle Dougherty - Office Manager
LaChelle’s career path has been anything but ordinary – from the waterproofing industry to teaching middle school dance and theatre, and even coaching cheerleading – she’s done it all! But in 2014, she joined Magnify Electric, and while she quickly realized that twisting wires wasn’t her thing (ouch!), she found her true calling in keeping the business running smoothly from behind the scenes.
Now, as the ultimate team builder, La Chelle thrives on creating a collaborative, service-driven work environment that supports both employees and the community. She’s a dedicated mother of two with a passion for helping others, staying active, and embracing creativity – whether that’s in the gym, the great outdoors, or with a bar of salty dark chocolate in hand.
From business operations to boosting team spirit, La Chelle keeps everything (and everyone) in sync – and she does it all with style and a smile!
Juan Silva - Estimator & Project Manager
For the past six years, Juan has been the go-to guy for keeping our commercial projects running smoothly. But his electrical journey started long before that – at just 17 years old, he began honing his skills in the commercial electrical world, and he’s been mastering the trade ever since.
When he’s not ensuring job sites are powered up and on schedule, Juan is out embracing his true wilderness spirit. A hunter, fisherman, and camper, he thrives in the great outdoors – probably with a fishing rod in one hand and a perfectly grilled steak in the other.
At home, he’s a devoted husband and father of three – two daughters and a son. (And sorry, ladies – this man is happily taken!)
Juan loves the electrical trade and has enjoyed watching it evolve over the years – just like he’s evolved into the ultimate outdoorsman and expert electrician.
Oscar Solano - Commercial Field Supervisor
With 17 years of experience in the electrical trade, Oscar brings deep knowledge and a steady hand to every project. As a licensed Journeyman Electrician, he enjoys the hands-on aspects of the work, especially running pipe and pulling wire, and takes pride in doing the job right the first time.
Outside of work, Oscar enjoys reading and working out, activities that have earned him the nickname “Superman.”
Beyond his technical abilities, he’s also recognized as a gifted teacher and mentor, inspiring the next generation of electricians with both wisdom and patience. Oscar’s next professional goal is to earn his Master Electrician License, continuing his lifelong commitment to growth, excellence, and leadership in the field.
